We had a lot of fun exploring nature for Hunter and Miles’s engagement shoot. They were so much fun to work with, and it was a perfect day for photos. Being fellow nature lovers, we embarked into the trails of Thatcher Park. The leaves should be a little less green when we see them in just over a year for their wedding day which sounds like a very fun day of celebration in the making!

We were super excited to head down to New Paltz and Lake Minnewaska to meetup with Emily and Brandon for their engagement shoot. What an amazing backdrop to capture the love between these two. And when a couple takes off their shoes to head into the water, you know things are going to be great! Cannot wait until their wedding next year!

May in Albany is one of the most lovely times of the year here. When Amy and Ryan wanted to do an engagement session here (they are from out of town) I thought Washington Park around Tulipfest would be perfect. What a great day. With Dunkin and their parents in toe, we made our way around the jewel of the city. With a beautiful backdrop, beautiful couple, and the cutest dog, our job was pretty easy.

We are so happy that Emily and Becky braved the rain on this overcast Sunday to help us play with some new equipment we wanted to try out. It has also been a while since we have added to our urban decay series, so we ventured out to find an abandoned area in Troy to throw our beautiful couple into. We just love when we have people who are willing to get in and risk a little dirt and well let’s just be honest… tetanus… for a really fun shot.

This has been an incredible Fall. It is not often that peak foliage hits in early November. This certainly made the trip to Boston to meetup with Laura and Michael to take some engagement photos around their stomping grounds all the more worth it. And this before got to spend the afternoon with two fantastic people. We had a blast wondering around with their perfectly photogenic dog Zoey (who was one of the best listeners, human or otherwise ;-) ).
