All of the elements aligned for Genevieve and Aaron’s wedding day. The two, both looking like a million bucks, fittingly had a beautiful first look at the million dollar staircase at the State Capitol, followed by some pictures at the State Plaza. Love was in the air both at the I Love NY tourist op and every other photo location we stopped at for these two. We then headed to the State Room which was adorned with all sorts of beautiful research decor from the petrie dish place cards, to the microscope centerpieces, to the science-theme etched wedding cake, to the hands on science stations to the flower girls carrying their flowers in flasks. Science was everywhere! Dr. Gen and Aaron had a beautiful ceremony, officiated by friends, that continued the theme, culminating in personalized vows and an exchanging of rings. Then the celebrating began. After cocktail hour, the two were introduced as husband and wife and started the party with a first dance and bridal party toasts. After dinner, was a dance floor was opened with a first for us- over a dozen Zumba dancers passionately doing a choreographed routine to Ptibull’s “Fireball.” It was the best advertisement for a fitness class we’ve ever seen! And from there, the dance floor never stopped! We had such a wonderful time getting to know this amazing couple throughout the day, and seeing these two celebrate their love, it doesn’t take a doctorate to see that these two have formed an unbreakable bond.
