We started Sarah and Josh’s wedding weekend by swinging by their rehearsal dinner for pictures where the wedding party was clad in flapper dresses, top hats, and canes, and ready for some fun. After the fun 20’s era photoshoot, we knew then that we had a fun day in store. Sarah and Josh did an amazing job of crafting everything to make their wedding day special from arranging the bouquets, to designing the centerpieces, to creating a beautiful memorial display for those who were there in spirit. The two had a “first touch” just moments before the ceremony, which set the tone for the emotionally joyous event. From the officiant recounting Sarah and Josh’s long history, to their signature drink of “Too Long Island Iced Tea”, to the toasts given by siblings, it was apparent that these two have been together for a long time. It is obvious that these two have been building their lives together long before this wedding day and this was not just a celebration of their future, but a celebration of the bond they have built over the last 15 years. You know a wedding day is great when your cheeks hurt from smiling as you edit the pictures the next day. As I type, Sarah and Josh are preparing their next adventure and we couldn’t be happier for them.
