After the “lucky” showers passed for the day, we met Kristen and Sudip at the Empire Plaza for a sweet first look and photos. From there it was off to Kristen’s parents’ house for a small ceremony and reception. Although it was a small guest list, the two were surrounded by close friends and family, both in person and on FaceTime, as they exchanged their vows. Kristen and Sudip’s wedding day was a beautiful reminder of what weddings are really about. Their plans for their big day changed multiple times due to circumstances out of their control, but they embraced the key ingredients which are celebrating their love, honoring their journey to getting to that day, and committing to their road ahead together. The opulent decorations, fancy hand-passed hors d’oeuvres, and raging dance party are just icing on an already very sweet wedding cake.
