I guess April showers sometimes bring even more May showers in addition to beautiful flowers. We headed out on this drizzly Saturday to check in with Rachel and Chris at their perspective getting ready spots. At the church, the two were wed in a beautiful ceremony where the priest reminded everyone that rain is a great symbol of nourishment for life and growth, and therefore is the perfect backdrop for a wedding day. The rain also encouraged us to take photos inside a building on the Union Campus that we have taken photos outside of for years. It turns out the bright, warm space inside rivals the beauty of the its ornate stone exterior. We got to Glen Sanders with plenty of time to relax and take a breath before the amazing party that was soon to unfold. There were well-delivered toasts, beautiful dances, and even a Jamaican-themed performance of an original song for the newlyweds. The dance floor was hopping as friends and family celebrated the love story of a couple that are such a great match. We wish these two the best of luck as they embark on a soccer-loving, puppy-raising, new home-building, life together!
