If you plan a December wedding in New York, part of you has to be rooting for snow. And that’s just what Shannon and Andrew got for their big day, a beautiful light blanket of snow as a backdrop for their big day. We met up with them as they got ready, and I was happy I got the chance to meet the new addition to their family, Jordy, and to say hello to big sister, Ella. They were married in a ornate Greek Orthodox church in Schenectady in a beautiful ceremony rich with tradition.  After greeting guests, and being overwhelmed by an arsenal of confetti,  the bridal party braved a few outdoor photos before heading over to the reception at Riverstone Manor. There guests warmed up from the cold by taking to the dance floor. The band, The Accents, energized the room and most of the crowd was on their feet for the whole reception.  Shannon and Andrew rallied to take a quick venture out into the cold night to get a few outdoor shots to document this beautiful setting for their big day.  We left these two with big smiles on their faces as they extended their party to go longer into the night so they could continue celebrating the beginning of their happily ever after with family and friends.
