We have been looking forward to Kim and Ernie’s big day for well over a year now, and it is good she gave us so much advance notice as she is often the one watching our kids when we go shoot our weddings!  We started by getting shots in Kim’s room in the beautiful and newly renovated Renaissance Hotel. After a little champagne, and a lot of laughs, the bridal party headed up State Street where Kim and Ernie shared their first look.  We took pictures around the plaza and made sure we took a quick stop at Washington Park.  (Kim had originally wanted to get married at Brant Lake, a very special place for her, so we tried to recreate some “lake-esque” pictures there!)  Their ceremony was at the breathtaking St. Francis of Assisi Parish, conveniently located across the street from Emack & Bolio where we grabbed a quick treat.  After the ceremony we headed to the Italian American Community Center where a fun, never before seen, WWE-themed reception began! There were WWE props in the photobooth and even a WWE ring for a cake, featuring the lovely couple inside.  There was also a 90s theme to the night; we enjoyed chatting with fellow-guests at our “Married with Children” table, and friends and family had fun busting dance moves to fun 90s era music including featuring some fun boy band hits from the past.  To stay with theme, I will end with quoting NKOTB: Kim and Ernie definitely have “The Right Stuff” for a wonderful future together, and we wish them all the best in all of their adventures to come!
