Cat and James told us River Stone Manor was beautiful, but when we stepped out of the car and walked back through the well-manicured grounds towards the river, we knew it was going to be a day filled with great shots. Cat finished getting ready there, and had a touching first look with her mother and father before the big reveal to her soon-to-be husband, James. After photos, they headed down towards the river for the ceremony. After cocktail hour, as we headed towards the reception, we were trying to gage what kind of crowd this would be for an afternoon wedding. Well, from the first song of the first set, the dance floor exploded. Light hearted fun and pure joy resounded from those dancing feet. The photobooth was hopping and the pie station might be my favorite dessert so far of the season! When you add in those special touches like the Star Wars score in the ceremony and the full participatory grace… you know this was a thoughtfully planned wedding. In his toast, the groom’s brother said that ‘James looks at Cat like he just opened a Star Wars action figure on Christmas morning.’ I think many people dream of feeling that much love and excitement to share a life with someone. Happy together, we hope they will be! ;)
